The AVS Bugflector II is a bonnet protector for the RAM 1500 DS in smoked black. It mounts to the leading edge of the bonnet and deflects stone chips, insects and road debris up and over the windscreen rather than into your paint.
What it's for
Australian highway driving is hard on a bonnet — gravel off the truck in front, insects at dusk, and the sheer distance involved. A bonnet protector takes that punishment instead of your paint, and it's dramatically cheaper to replace than a respray on a bonnet the size of a RAM's.
The Bugflector II is a moulded acrylic design that follows the contour of the bonnet rather than standing proud of it, so it looks like part of the truck rather than an add-on.
Finish
Smoked black — dark and translucent. It suits black, grey and dark-coloured trucks particularly well. We also stock the chrome finish if you'd prefer the brighter look.
