The BAKFlip G2 is a hard folding tonneau for the 6'4" tub on a RAM 1500 DT, specified for trucks without the multifunction tailgate. It folds in three panels and locks flat against the bulkhead, giving you a hard, weather-resistant lid that still leaves the tub fully accessible when you need it.
Hard folding versus soft
A hard folding cover buys you three things a soft roll-up can't: real security, a panel strong enough to take distributed weight, and a lid that doesn't drum or flap at highway speed. It costs more and it's heavier, but on a truck that carries tools or gear you'd rather not advertise, that's usually the right trade.
Check before you order
This one is cut for the 6'4" tub without the multifunction tailgate. The MF tailgate changes the rear geometry and needs a different cover. If you're not sure which tailgate your DT has, send us the VIN and we'll check before anything ships — it's the single most common ordering error on this platform.
